NettieNoodles Nursery Precious Reborn Serenity by Laura Lee Eagles
Please be patient while all of my photos load. I try to provide many large, clear photographs to most accurately show the details of my babies. All pictures have been taken in natural lighting without the use of a flash. Variations in the color & lighting of my photos are due to the photos being taken over several days under different lighting conditions. All of my babies are crafted in a clean and smoke-free environment.
Serenity was reborn from the beautiful kit sculpted by Laura Lee Eagles. Her beautiful color was achieved using permanent Genesis heat set paints. Several layers and colors of paint are applied to give her the lifelike skintone of a real baby. Each layer of color is permanently heat set to give Serenity the beautiful coloring she now has. She has soft lifelike undertones that make her come to life.
Serenity has hand rooted wispy brown eyelashes that compliment her hair color. I gave her very delicately brushstroke painted eyebrows that are subtle to perfectly suit her newborn face. Her nostrils have been shaded for added realism and depth. I have painted her lips using Genesis paints and they have been sealed with varnish. All of Serenity's sweet little fingernails and toenails have been lightly colored and tipped to give a natural appearance and sealed with varnish.
I have micro-rooted Serenity's hair using beautiful, high quality, dark brown mohair. Her hair is very soft and silky and I have razor cut it to look just like a baby's''new'' and uncut hair.
Her hair has been double sealed from the inside with a waterproof sealer so it can be lightly wet and styled. Serenity has a custom doe suede body that perfectly accomodates her full vinyl arms and legs. Her head, limbs and torso have been weighted using micro fine glass beads (no sand), poly pellets and super soft fiberfill to give her the cuddly feel of a real baby.
I do not firmly stuff my sleeping newborn babies. I prefer to fill them a bit more loosely so they are cuddly and can be posed in the most realistic way.
Her head is wobbly just like a real newborn and needs support but if you prefer her to be more firmly stuffed I will gladly do that upon request. Older babies will be stuffed slightly firmer so they can be posed in seated positions and hold their heads up. Because of the artistic nature of these dolls, they are not intended for children.
She can wear most newborn or 0-3 month size clothing and will arrive in the beautiful clothing she is photographed in. Please know the risks associated with these powerful magnets. They should not be used around people with pacemakers as they pose very serious and dangerous health risks. They are also not safe to use around other electronic devices as they can cause permanent damage. Serenity will arrive to her new home with the following items.
