Poppy is a full bodied solid silicone baby girl made by the very talented Andrea Arcello. Andrea sculpted her to resemble her own baby girl as a newborn, and has done a fabulous job capturing the sweetness of a just born infant <3 She is so detailed and realistic, from her creases and wrinkles to her squinty expression. She even has sculpted armpits! I have not seen a more realistically sculpted body on a doll in all my years of collecting. Poppy has dark blonde microrooted hair, and beautiful blue blown glass eyes. Her sculpted mouth has a magnet embedded in the silicone to hold a magnetic pacifier. She can also take a modified pacifier, one of which will be included with her, or a full wee thumbie pacifier. Poppy is painted like a newborn, with mottling and light veining throughout her body. She is poured in soft platinum silicone, and is a dream to hold.
