Quinlyn Reborn
Quinlyn is a very special reborn by Bonnie Brown and Adrie Stoete. Each of my babies is a piece of my heart and soul and Quinlyn is no exception. Is 18 inches long with full arms and legs and can wear newborn size clothing. Many layers of Genesis heat set paints were used to achieve this baby's realistic.
Final layer of heat set satin varnish was applied for a permanen. T paint seal that will not rub off.
Her tiny fingernails and toenails have been tipped and sealed for a freshly manicured look. I chose to sparsely root her straight/slightly wavy light.
Brown premium mohair using a tiny German needle. I use a directional rooting technique for an optimal natural grown pattern. Her matching eyelashes were also hand rooted.Her "barely there" eyebrows were painted with an ultra fine brush. The hair has been sealed on the inside so it can be combed and styled. Baby Quinlyn has a magnetic pacifier. Her doe suede body has been weighted with glass beads and stuffed with polyfill to make her soft and cuddly.
Her head and limbs have been weighted with fine glass beads. Her head is floppy and she snuggles into your arms just like a real baby. Reborning is a time consuming and labor intensive process which explains why reborn babies are so costly. I try to price my babies fairly for others' enjoyment and pleasure. I constantly inspect my work as I go along to make sure nothing is overlooked. I constantly study real babies and with each new baby I create, I strive to improve my technique and never stop learning. Only when done properly and thoroughly with m. Eticulous attention to little details can the goal of ultimate realism be achieved. Quinlyn was created in my smoke free studio. Clothing she is wearing in her photos, Certificate of Authenticity, pacifier and carefully wrapped in a snuggly blanket of my choice. When properly handled and cared for this darling baby will bring you many years of enjoyment. Please note her pictures were taken at different times of day in various lighting conditions.
