Reborn Doll, Bountiful Baby, Punkin, Awake, 17.5 inches, So Cute, Ready to Ship
Vinyl head, 3/4 inch arms and 3/4 inch legs with a doe suede tan body. 3/4 length limbs with a jointed cloth body makes the baby more flexible, more poseable and more snuggly. I painted this Bountiful Baby kit with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. She was sealed with a matte finish. A gloss finish was added to her nails, mouth, ears and the corner of her eyes.
She has open nostrils which are backed with black felt for a realistic look. I hand rooted mohair on her head and eyelashes.She has realistic brown-blue acrylic eyes. I added mottling and veining to her head and limbs.
Her limbs and head are weighted with premium glass beads and stuffed with 100% Polyester Poly-Fil so she feels like a real baby in your arms. Due to the shape of her mouth inside of her head, I was unable to properly place a magnet for a pacifier. However, she can take a modified pacifier.
She wears newborn and some preemie baby clothes. She will come home to her new mommy/daddy wearing a diaper, a onsie, the "kitty" gown, and the pink hat as shown in the photos. I will also include a modified pacifier.
She will be wrapped in a blanket. A small box opening is included. I will wrap her in a large plastic bag to protect her from rain or damp weather conditions and the package will be securely taped. She does not come with a COA because Bountiful Baby only includes COA's with their realborn kits. I can supply a photo of the markings on her neck.She will have a small box opening. These dolls are considered art dolls and are NOT meant to be toys for young children. When I first start making reborn dolls, I said I would only make dolls with full limbs. However, I discovered that 3/4 length limbs with a jointed cloth body makes the baby more flexible, more poseable and more snuggly.
This is the first one I've done and I really like how poseable they are. However, because a small part of their limbs are jointed cloth, they look best in clothing with some sort of sleeve and pants to cover the cloth. If you'd like to see more photos, please message me.
