These kits are made of silicone vinyl the following statement is taken from Puppen Traumland who produce these amazing kits. " Kits from this line are very soft to touch and have the same visual appeal as the silicone dolls however , they offer so much more The arms, legs, and head are jointed (ball joints) you will have the freedom to pose your reborn baby any way you like". PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT THE ECOFLEX SILICONE (these are taken from a mould and are in one piece).

AS STATED Miron, s limbs and head are attached with special connectors. He is filled in much the same way but the filling goes straight into the vinyl body with a pouch for the crushed glass (details below further down of filling used) and limbs filled as you would a vinyl baby HEAD is NOT heavily weighted. ALTHOUGH no cloth body is used he CAN NOT be submerged in a bath of water due to him NOT being watertight and fillings used however you can sponge him down gently BUT DO NOT use harsh chemicals as these could damage the vinyl and or paint work so great for roll play and being completely vinyl and no cloth body showing looks very real. A few important pointers silicone vinyl ball jointed dolls need a lot more care similar to ecoflex silicone.

Never lift or carry by the head or limbs. Take extra care when dressing and undressing , never pull on his limbs and support his neck.

Do not sit him up unaided head needs supporting (a pillow /cushion is fine). Dust just loves silicone should he become dusty i suggest using a CLEAN large makeup brush to remove any dust that settles on him. NEVER do to him what you would not do to a REAL baby or in other words treat him with care as if he were a real baby.

Being full bodied he looks very realistic and of cause can be dressed in just about anything.

WEARS 0-3 months size clothing and some 3-6 month depending on brand and style. HE HAS BEEN PAINTED IN MANY LAYERS and in much the same way/colours as a vinyl baby MIRON has a peaches and cream complexion with realistic small areas of dry skin on his torso and limbs for added realism THESE LAYERS REPRESENT THE SHADES IN THE LAYERS OF REAL FLESH AND SKIN TO BUILD UP A VERY NATURAL AND REALISTIC LOOK CREATING A " LIVING SKIN " EFFECT. INCLUDING BLUE LAYERS - BLUISH UNDERTONES TYPICALLY SEEN IN A VERY NEWBORN (BUT LESS PROMINENT IN A SLIGHTLY OLDER BABY) HENCE DEPENDING ON THE SCULPT THIS MAY VARY FROM EACH OF MY BABIES. VERY FINE VEINS - WRISTS, ANKLES SKULL ETC again this will vary depending on the age of the baby.

PIGMENT WASHES TO GIVE DEPTH TO THE SKIN TONES -THIS REPLICATES FAT LAYERS AND MELANIN PIGMENTS. REDDISH WASHES , TO REPRESENT MOTTLING AND CAPILLARIES UNDER THE SKIN again the amount of mottling will vary depending on the age of the baby (photos will show this) MRON has slight blushing to his limbs as opposed to heavy mottling due to the age he represents (2-3 month) so a more'settled' skin appearance.

FLESH WASHES TO REPRESENT THE TOP LAYERS OF SKIN. A FINAL MATTE SEALER TO PROTECT PAINT AND HELP PREVENT SHIN two coats have been applied. NAILS ARE PAINTED , TIPPED AND SEALED TO LOOK AS NATURAL AS POSSIBLE WITH TINY HALF MOONS.

LIPS ARE A LOVELY NATURAL HEALTHY COLOUR GLOSSED AND SEALED. MOISTURE HAS BEEN ADDED IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES (LIPS INNER EARS, NOSE AND EYES) inc'nappy area. HAIR HAS BEEN DIRECTIONALY ROOTED with a 42 gauge needles picking up just a few hairs at a time for that natural just growing look IN MID BABY Blonde with a Alpaca MOHAIR from France WITH SMALLER JUST GROWING HAIR AT His HAIR LINE to as you would see in a real baby for added realism - this has taken many hour to achieve the final result THIS HAS THEN BEEN SEALED FROM THE INSIDE TO ENABLE GENTLE WASHING AND STYLING.
